My Light Guide — Privacy Policy

Locally stored data: The App stores your preferences (selected location, alert settings, and notification preferences) locally on your device. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to us or any third party.

The App uses the following third-party service:

Google AdMob: We display banner advertisements through Google AdMob. Google may collect certain information including your device's advertising identifier, IP address, and general usage data in accordance with Google's own privacy policy. This data is collected and processed by Google, not by us.

Children's Privacy

My Light Guide is a utility app suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since the App does not collect any personal data from any user, no special provisions for children's data are required. The third-party advertising shown through AdMob complies with Google's policies regarding ad content.

Data Storage & Security

All app data is stored locally on your device. We do not operate servers that store user data. If you uninstall the App or clear its data, your preferences will be permanently deleted.

Your Choices

• Location access: You can deny location permission and manually select your city instead. The App works fully without GPS access.
• Notifications: You can enable or disable any alert notifications within the App, or disable all notifications through your device settings.
• Ad personalisation: You can opt out of personalised advertising through your device's settings (Settings → Privacy → Ads on most Android devices).
• Data deletion: You can delete all app data at any time by clearing the App's data in your device settings.
